    Eligibility for BSc (Mathematics)

    In India (and most colleges), the eligibility is usually:

    1. Educational qualification

  • You must have completed Class 12 (PUC / Higher Secondary)

  • 2. Required subjects

  • Mathematics is compulsory in Class 12

  • Other subjects can be Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Statistics (varies by college)

  • 3. Minimum marks

  • Generally 40%–60% aggregate marks in Class 12
    (Exact cutoff depends on the college/university)

  • 4. Stream

  • Mostly students from Science stream are eligible

  • Some universities may also allow Commerce students if they studied Mathematics

  • 5. Age limit

  • Usually no strict age limit (depends on institution)
