The Master of Science (MSc) in Radiation Physics is a postgraduate course that involves the study of the concepts and principles of the application of radioactivity in the medical field for diagnostic purposes directed by healthcare physicians. Special training about various medical radioactive materials and usage of these materials to diagnose the inner anatomy of the human body is provided to ensure that candidates demonstrate accuracy, precision, and attention to detail. Diagnostic training in techniques like ultrasound, radioactive scanning, and medical imaging technologies is provided.

Skills like responsibility, accuracy, decision-making, and teamwork are enhanced through the course.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 60% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree in Science stream with Physics subject from a recognized education board
  • Minimum 55% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree in Science stream with Physics subject from a recognized education board for Reserved Category
