The Master of Science (MSc) in Psychosocial Rehabilitation is a postgraduate course that educates, prepares, and trains the students on Human Psychology and Social Behavior. The course trains the students to work in diverse environments like mental health institutions and rehabilitation centers. Special training about psychological behavior, mental wellbeing, communication, social engagement, and rehabilitation models are provided to ensure that candidates demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, understanding, and patience.

Candidates are trained in counseling skills, cognitive rehabilitation therapy skills, capability building skills, and philosophy. The students will be empowered with the skills required to counsel others and bring them out of depression and loneliness.

Skills like responsibility, accuracy, patience, decision-making, interaction, and understanding are enhanced through the course.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Sociology/Nursing/Home Science/Occupational Therapy with Behavioral and Social Science subjects from a recognized education board
  • Candidates with MBBS degree from a recognized education board
  • Qualification in entrance examinations
