Courses Providing

1. IELTS - International English Language Testing System
IELTS - International English Language Testing System

The IELTS Examination is used to measure the linguistic proficiency of people who wish to go for studies or for seeking jobs in countries where English is the medium of communication. The main provider of the test is IDP . There are two versions for the test : a) General – for those candidates who wish to go abroad for job and migration purposes; b) Academic – for those candidates who want to pursue higher studies abroad. Both the test versions assess the four required language skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

IELTS scores are accepted by more than 3,000 educational institutions and various professional organizations across the globe. The required score band varies according to the norms set based on institution, course and country (for Academic) and based on profession ( for General). In most cases, a band of 6.0 and above is required.

2. OET - ccupational English Test
OET - ccupational English Test

OET or Occupational English Test is used to evaluate the linguistic skills of healthcare professionals for the purpose of registration and practicing in an English-speaking environment. It provides a justifiable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing, and speaking in relation to the communication procedures in the healthcare environment.

The aim of the test is to make sure that the candidate has the ability to communicate with patients, colleagues, doctors, etc., and thereby ensures the smooth functioning of the healthcare facility. The health professionals from the following categories are assessed under OET:

  • Medicine
  • Dentistry
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy
  • Veterinary Science
  • Dietetics
  • Optometry
  • Radiography
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Pathology
  • Podiatry

The listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills of the candidate are analyzed in the test. A minimum of grade B is needed in each skill to be accepted by various professional boards. There is a sub-test for each skill area. The Listening and Reading sub-texts are common to all professions and are intended to evaluate the candidate on his/her ability to understand spoken and written English in circumstances connected to general health and medicine.

 

3. GERMAN LANGUAGE
GERMAN LANGUAGE

German language learning has certain certifications. The basic levels of learning are the A1 and A2 levels and this level introduces you to the simplest everyday conversations you can have with common phrases you can use. Both these levels are considered as elementary level. After having completed the A1 level, you will be able to introduce yourself, have conversations in a supermarket or any other such social contexts. Basic grammar is also covered at this level. A2 level of German teaches expressions that are commonly used and help you communicate in everyday situations such as shopping, work, travel and so on. Familiar and common topics become easy to handle after this level and self-introduction in terms of educational background, immediate surroundings and anything related to things around you.

B1 and B2 levels are considered as independent users of German. In these levels, you learn to communicate most everyday situations and also confidently convey your experiences, describe dreams and goals and also express your opinions. With B2 level you can deal with more complex language structures, participate in discussions and communicate spontaneously.

4. GRE
GRE

he GRE is a test conducted by the Educational Testing Service and is a requirement for admission to graduate and professional schools in the US and Canada which includes business and law programmes. This test has three different sections to it: quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and analytical writing.

There are different GRE tests available. GRE General, which needs to be taken for admissions to business schools and another GRE subject-based test which includes subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, psychology. The test format for both these is the same. The GRE can be taken as a computer-based test or a paper-based test. In the case of the computer-based test, the sequence of the three parts may vary from candidate to candidate.

5. BLS & ACLS - Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are American Heart Association (AHA) approved certifications for healthcare practitioners. This certification is a requirement to be considered to be proficient in their field of service. BLS is the foundation and this certification is the basis on which the knowledge is built. It teaches the basics of saving a person's life outside a hospital whereas ACLS is a more advanced certification.

6. CBT- Computer Based Test
CBT- Computer Based Test

Computer-based Test for the UK is an objective exam conducted by Pearson VUE as a requirement to work as a registered nurse in the UK. CBT is the first part of the test and the candidate is permitted to opt for his/her specialized field. The options are as follows: Adult nursing, children’s nursing, learning disabilities, mental health nursing.

The total number of questions is 120 which have to be answered within 4 hours. All questions are multiple-choice questions. Part 2 of the test is OSCE: Objective Structured Clinical Examination, which tests your practical knowledge. Only after the successful completion of both these tests does a candidate become eligible to work as a registered nurse.

7. MOH
MOH

The MOH medical license exam is an assessing test put forth by the Ministry of Health of UAE for appointing healthcare professionals to work in varying healthcare sectors within the UAE. Those applicants qualifying the MOH examination can work in all the 5 Emirates except Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The MOH exam is applicable for professions like –

  • Physicians
  • Dentists
  • Pharmacists
  • Nurses and midwives
  • Medical lab technicians
  • Other complementary and alternative physicians, practitioners and technicians.

8. HAAD - Health Authority of Abu Dhabi
HAAD - Health Authority of Abu Dhabi

The Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) is an exemplary body that provides licence to those healthcare professionals who wish to practice in any healthcare sector within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through the HAAD Exam. It is mandatory for all health professionals to obtain their licence prior to practicing in any healthcare sector within Abu Dhabi. The license must be updated and valid at all times while practicing and also it must be renewed 3 months prior to the expiry date. A health professional’s license is actually associated with the healthcare sector they are working for. All UAE National physicians working in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi may practice in both Public and Private sector simultaneously. The physicians must obtain a no objection from their Hospital Medical Director or management.

The HAAD Exam can be taken up by those from the following professions:

  • Doctors
  • Dentists
  • Nurses/midwife
  • Dieticians
  • Other professions like physiotherapy, homeopathy, osteopathic medicine, unani medicine and naturopathic medicine.

9. DHA - Dubai Health Authority

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is a government body which not only beholds the health system of the Emirate of Dubai, but also lends healthcare services to one and all through official hospitals, private healthcare setups, clinics and other healthcare facilities that come under its direct sight. One should get eligibility for writing the Saudi Prometric Examination. The eligibility number will be unique for each individual and allows one to sit the appropriate test according to the qualifications and experience to be licensed to practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An applicant will have only three attempts to pass the licensing exam. If the candidates do not pass on the first and second attempts, they may apply to SCFHS for a reactivation of their eligibility number as to obtain a third and last attempt; this eligibility obtained has a validity of only 3 months and so the test date should be booked within that period.

For getting eligibility the following documents for credentialing should be provided:

  • Corresponding Council Registration
  • Experience/Still working
  • Passport Documents
  • A passport size photo in white background

In normal cases all the candidates will be getting eligibility within 3-5 working days. For SCFHS, a health care Practitioner will get two types of eligibility.

  1. Technician
  2. Specialist

Those applying for Saudi Specialist exam must have an experience of 3 or more years.

After getting eligibility, exam dates can be booked within the eligibility time of 90 days. Exam dates and centre can be booked on candidate’s convenience. Exam time will be normally 2 to 2:30 hrs and will contain 70 -100 questions.

Those who are writing technician exam will get their exam result on the same day of exam and a Specialist result will be only published within 20-30 working days after the exam.
A candidate who has successfully passed Prometric Examination for Saudi should posses a positive Dataflow/PSV report to get placed.
